My Addictions

I have always loved tattoos and piercings. Currently I have 4 tattoos and getting another in October (Happy Birthday to me! My birthday is today, btw!)

I run a small freelancing business but because I have a lot of vices, like piercings and tattoos, I am thinking I may need a second job. I already searched for data entry jobs (REAL JOBS), Network Administrator Jobs, and of course other freelance writing jobs.

Just got my eyebrow pierced this past Tuesday! I love it! I have my ears pierced, my tongue, my lip, I have 2 dermals and now my eyebrow :)

Goodbye September

It is already really chilly in the mornings here now and it is getting dark out earlier and earlier. Once we get back from Florida I am going to have to sort through my winter clothes and figure out what I need.

I know I will need to buy new shoes and boots. I've already been looking online for womens boots hoping to find something I like and so far, these suit me:

For now though, it is time to get the laundry finished and start packing for Disney!

Quality Make-up - FREE offer

With the holidays coming up (yes they are, get out of denial!) it is time to start thinking about gifts. I don't know about you but I prefer to shop early and shop online.

A friend of mine (and now client), Sherry, has an online mineral makeup store as well as an actual storefront in Newport, RI -- Cosmetic Cosmos (http://www.cosmeticcosmos.com)

She is trying to get more Facebook fans as well as generate sales so she came up with a pretty cool incentive/promotion and I want to share:

On Facebook, "Like" Cosmetic Cosmos: https://www.facebook.com/CosmeticCosmos and receive a free cream eyeshadow set (a $19.50 value) with any order of $30 or over!

You can start your shopping early and get something for yourself as well!  If you don't buy from her, at least "Like" her Facebook page and check things out - but I can honestly say, her shop does carry the highest quality cosmetics and the prices are very affordable.

Birthday Boy Determination

Dante turned 6 on Monday, the 19th. We are actually having an official celebration today but on Monday we made whatever he wanted for dinner; chicken, mac n cheese, and corn and then took him and Wyatt to the playground while Olivia had cheering practice.

He was determined to make his way around this thing:

The New Church

Author: Joseph Sandoval

My husband and I recently moved to a new area for his factory job and our house is kind of out in the middle of nowhere. We’re really struggling meeting new people so we want to get plugged into a church community since that’s where most of our best relationships have come from before.

I got us all signed up for satellite internet broadband at home so we could look into the churches around the community. I found a great website that cataloged and summarized all the philosophies of all the local organizations and we actually found one we think we’re going to try next week. I hope I’ll be able to become a part of a women’s group and that people will be accepting of us – it’s always tough being the new people in town!

My church life is usually really intertwined with my home life and I think that if we find the right place we’ll really be able to start feeling like we are actually making this new place more of a home than a house.

Wedding Planning

A friend of mine is getting married this coming spring and well, with CJ and I talking about marriage to (just TALKING about it!), she and I share wedding planning ideas. She has been gabbing about bridal shower invitations and I have been pondering what boutique has the best wedding and spa services (I know of one in Newport, RI!)

Anyway, In March Cj and I are going to Disney sans the kids. We just might make that little getaway a honeymoon :D We are staying at the Polynesian Resort because that is our absolute favorite Disney resort! Even though Bay Lake Tower is our home DVC resort, the Poly just feels like home :D
