My Newest Tattoo

During my online quest for lg phone batteries I somehow wound up on a site about Jack Skellington...I know, the two do not correlate, which just goes to show how good the Internet is at sucking people in.

I love the Jack Skellington character ad had always wanted a tattoo of Jack, just wasn't sure where. I finally not only decided what I wanted and where I wanted it, but I went and got it!

Happy Birthday Grandma

Today my grandmother turns 89 years old! We went out to dinner last night to celebrate. She insisted on paying, for everyone's meal! UGH!!!! But, she sure enjoyed herself.

She has already gotten all the insurance stuff straightened out, including researching all the senior life insurance resources available. At this point in her life all she needs to do is sit back and enjoy!

Dinners at 'Ohana

Every time we go to Walt Disney World we absolutely MUST have dinner at 'Ohana in the Polynesian Resort.

In our hearts, this resort is our home. When it comes to DVC resorts, we do love Bay Lake Tower but the Polynesian will always be our first love. So, every Disney trip we make sure to have dinner at 'Ohana -- and believe me, weight loss pills just might be the only way to prevent gaining weight with this meal! LOL

Starters:
'Ohana Welcome Bread
Mixed greens with a honey-lime dressing

Appetizers:
Honey-Coriander Chicken Wings
Pork Dumplings with Sweet and Sour Sauce

Skewers prepared over an oak fire and served with Peanut, Spicy Mustard, and Sweet n Sour Sauces:

Spicy Grilled Peel n Eat Shrimp

Halloween Costume Search

Yes, you read correctly, I am on a Halloween costume search! Last year we spent October 5th-10th in Walt Disney World. We went to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP) and spent a small fortune on that trip. I should have considered getting one of those quick loans to keep us ahead of the game at the time because paying for the party tickets was expensive! I had to order and pay for them over the phone and they cost well over $350!

Although we all had an excellent time, because we went in early October, finding Halloween costumes was tough. I should have just looked online but instead we went out shopping and as you can see, we certainly came up short. Well, I think we all did good improvising!

This year we are going back but this time even earlier; October 1st-10th. I am not going to wait until the last minute to shop for Halloween costumes! I think I will look online and order them that way. My only concern is sizing. I know what sizes the kids wear when it comes to clothing but I have found that sometimes costumes are a bit off on size. I would really hate to get a costume and find out it does not fit.

This is precisely why I am looking now. There are only 2 months and 27 days until our next Walt Disney World vacation, if I find costumes now I should receive them within plenty of time.

Interesting Smoking Concept

This is something 'new' to me, how abut you? The landlord, who owns the building next to our house, was smoking something yesterday that looked a bit odd to me. When I asked him about it he told me he is trying electronic cigarettes which to me is, ummm, different.

I'll have to check more into those things, just because I'm nosy. Supposedly an e cig looks, tastes, feels, and acts like a cigarette but doesn't actually produce any "real" smoke. Instead, it utilizes a tar free, odorless, nicotine vapor that is free of many of the chemicals found in traditional cigarettes.
