Grandma!

My grandmother is going to be 89 this July. SO far, the only problems she's had have been knee problems and she wears an arthritis knee brace for that. CJ, however, sometimes wears anair cast for his ankle. Anyway, back to grandma....

Recently, she was also diagnosed with congestive heart failure, however, since getting on the right medication, she is doing so much better. Here she is in Epcot -- this was May 2010 when she went to Disney with us :)

Finding Insurance

A friend of mine and I had the whole insurance debate last night. I told him how when I got divorced I was without insurance for a while. I looked online for insurance, it was easy. Once I knew which company I wanted, I was able to look locally, all I needed was Google search.

For example, if you live in North Carolina and you know you want to use Blue Cross Blue Shield just type in Blue Cross Blue Shield North Carolina and viola - good info!

There really are so many insurance options out there - it's like car insurance shopping!

Olivia is 8

I can't believe my little girl is 8 already!!! I know, doesn't every parent say they can't believe how old their children are as each birthday passes? It's so true though :( He are two pictures of her opening her gifts:

No cake picture because I didn't buy a cake this year, CJ made one but didn't decorate it all fancy so it didn't warrant a photo opp. lol!

Livi wanted to take cupcakes to school for her birthday and I forgot....bad bad mom :( A woman I know online had said I should buy brownies at Sharis Berries and send them to school with her. Apparently they are yummy! At least I know for Dante's birthday...his is next!
