It has been so busy lately that I feel like my head is spinning. It is after 4pm, my dad is on his way over here for diner and I am still in my sweats wrapping up the workday. *SCREAMS*
I need a manicure, I desperately need a massage, and I definitely need something done with my hair. It is thick, curly, and really unmanageable some days.
Oh, haven't I mentioned the piercings and facial tattoo? Hahahaa! That is another blog post entirely! Anyway, back to hair. I know I am not the only frazzled mom. Some become so fed up they simply cut their hair. Others just brush it straight and that's that. Unfortunately, for most, they were not happy with the result. How awful to do something like cut your hair out of frustration and then look in the mirror and think, "what in the world did I just do?!"
If you are feeling that way, just wait. I found a really awesome website that sells ghd stylers and has all sorts of hair styling advice. Therefore, if you have longer hair, look at this style—simple yet it has cuteness about it.
For an on the move, effortlessly chic look:
• Step 1 To section the hair, place your thumbs above your ears, draw a line around the back of your head until your thumbs meet. Gather the hair above your thumbs and clip it out of the way.
• Step 2 Lightly mist your hair with ghd Curl Hold Spray. Separate your hair into 2 sections. In each section, place the ghd Gold Max styler in at the roots, rotate it 180° and glide the styler through the hair until reaching the end. Catch each section as it falls, and loosely twist it around your finger to define the curl.
• Step 3 For the top section of the hair, continue the same technique. To create soft curls at the ends of the hair, simply straighten the hair and simply rotate 180° towards the end. Finish the hairstyle with ghd Final Fix Spray for extra hold.
• Step 4 To finish the look, simply apply a small amount of ghd final Shine spray to your hands and work through your hair styling the hair back off your face.
I am going to continue to look through this website to find more quick and easy styles.
