Well, we are back from Walt Disney World and back to the reality of life. Blah. Work, bills, responsibility, all the stuff I try hard to block out. Now I get to sit here and go through the bank account. So far, I am realizing we spent way more money than we should have while on vacation and one of those loans that are available from online payday lenders suddenly seems like a good idea.
There were 5 adults and 3 children on the trip; we paid for everyone. We offered, it was our gift to the rest of them but we did not plan things out very well. Actually, we had some unexpected bills pop up related to house repairs a few weeks before vacation. Stuff like that always puts a damper on things, unless you have a lot of money set aside for things like that.
Although I feel really good that we were able to take CJ's mom, niece, and nephew on a Disney vacation, I know we will not be doing that again for a very long time. We seriously need to recover financially from the financial mess we have incurred.
July is going to be a tough month, financially. Both CJ and I are going to have to work extremely hard (not to mention very long hours) to recover from vacation and get caught up on monthly bills. If we can come out ahead, I will be so thankful and well, maybe even happy again.
