Visiting the Southern Shores

Walt Disney World is our family vacation destination spot every year and usually that is more than enough 'family vacation' for me! This year we're thinking of adding in a short beach vacation, just not sure which beach.

We re close to Maryland and New Jersey but I think I would like to venture a bit more south and Southern Shores vacation really appeal to me. The areas seem like absolutely beautiful places for a mini vacation.
