My friend Amy got engaged today. Her ring is a custom made ring--her 'fiance´ did a great job!

On the next girls night out we'll have to celebrate, alcohol, food, cigars and all! I am really happy for her--she deserves happiness! YAY! Another wedding to plan!

2011 Honda Pilot

The lease was up on our 2008 Honda Pilot and so we decided to stick with Honda and get a 2011. We went with the EX-L model, just one step down from the Touring package.  I love the heated seats!

This was the floor model. They had this color and black. I wanted black, CJ hates black and said no way. (Our 2008 Pilot was black) This floor model came with a gps system, not the one that the Touring package comes with, but an outside vendor installed one as a marketing tactic--it's in the rearview mirror. For the life of me I can't remember the manufacture name.

In any event, it's okay but I've been looking online for a different type of gps system. Recently I've read garmin gps reviews; still looking though. If you have a gps system, which one is it and do you like it?

I've actually had this store for almost 2 years and have sold some products but really haven't put much work into it at all. I plan to change that in 2011! Now that CJ and I work from home, besides freelance writing, we want to start a few more online stores. I have been looking into ecommerce web hosting for these sites.

I definitely want a company I can depend on and of course, one who knows what the heck they're doing. It's definitely been a daunting process but I think I've narrowed my list down to 3 companies so far. If you have web hosting, who do you use?

I'm No Expert

I've been writing alot of health and weight loss related articles lately and yes, I've learned a great deal about the topics but I am no 'expert'-- I'm just educated.

I am frequently asked what is the best diet pill on the market and honestly, I'm not sure--statistics constantly change. I recommend to people that they research this on their own because there is no way I want to make that call.

A Manicure and a Pedicure

A few weeks ago I allowed Olivia to get her nails painted and have a pedicure at the nail salon I go to. She really loved it--they actually have pedicure chairs for kids...

I love the salon we go to--they have so many services available and they are super nice. They even sell products like beauty creams, indoor tanning lotions, and hair care products and the prices are low.

I am also partial because i have known the owner for over 10 years.

Distracted

I'm trying to find the best free website directory to submit some client sites to but I can't stop watching TNA....LOL - Yes I admit, I love wrestling and TNA is awesome because Shannon Moore and Jeff Hardy are on it.

I need to save work stuff for the daytime because I don't really watch tv during the day.

All About Mac

We are 'Mac' people. I will NEVER go back to a 'PC' or Windows anything. Interestingly enough, our computers are the only Apple products we have. None of us have an iPhone, an iPod, or an iPad.

Seems the iPad is all the rage this holiday. A friend of mine is dying to get one. I told her she better hope whomever gets one for her also makes sure to get an ipad warranty as well because any time someone purchases a piece of technology, a warranty is a must.

Anyone have an iPad? Is it as awesome as I have heard?

Big Sis

I recently came across this photo of Olivia and Wyatt--I think it was taken about a year ago.

So adorable! Wyatt hasn't changed too much since this photo was taken but Olivia has. Although she is only 7, she sure has changed physically. One thing I've noticed is acne, on her face. Nothing major, but a few areas here and there. I come to find out she doesn't really wash her face when she bathes--she simply uses the washrag and water.

I told her she needs to use some soap and really WASH her face because when she gets into her teens I don't want to have to be researching what the best treatment for acne is because soap and water just won't work.
