Two Things, Then Sunshine!

I have two things to do this morning then it's off to enjoy this beautiful day! I need to take a look at what's 'hot' in the way of horizontal blinds; I am contemplating those for the house, at least in the bathroom. Then, I need to choose from three different personalized baby gifts, got a baby shower to go to soon.

Once I get through those things, the kids and I are going to go the playground--this weather is just too beautiful to pass up. Right now it's 62˚ and it's only supposed to warm up into the low 80s! YAY!

Next Summer: Outer Banks Vacation

This summer, Jeff and Olivia went to a beach in New Hampshire for a family get together and anniversary party. They had a great time:

We (CJ, the boys, Livi and I) go to Disney every year but I really would love a beach vacation too. Summer just doesn't feel like summer without the beach. So, I have been poking around online for a realty company that offers excellent deals on fantabulous beach houses and I found Outer Banks vacation rentals from Carolina Designs.

Now, we are a big family, there are 5 of us. When we go on vacation we like to take other family members too, like my mom, my grandma and CJ's mom. With this in mind, we know we need a big beach house. Well, check out this place:

This place is absolutely perfect! It has 5 bedroom (2 master bedrooms) and check this out: PRIVATE POOL, HOT TUB, 10 TVs, 3 VCRs, 2 DVD players, video library, stereo, gameroom/sports bar with pool table, XBox, wet bar, gas grill, high chair, pack n play. 7 parking spaces.

WOW! Ya think 5-8 of us will have enough space and enough to do here? I am impressed with the prices too. Some weeks the price is UNDER $1,000 for the week!

Attention Email Marketers

I'm searching for the best service when it comes to direct mail marketing for my business, L&C Freelancing.

Not so much FOR my business but to offer my clients.  I've had several inquiries lately regarding handling email marketing and at this time, it's not a service we, as a freelance biz, offer but I'd like to consider it. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction!

Recommended Semiar: Commitment vs Complacency

Relationships are alot of work, even the ones that are good could still use a little tweaking now and then.

If you are in the NY/NJ area, join R. A. Leslie, motivational speaker and life coach for powerful and provocative discussions in her 'Heart vs Mind' series. The first topic is titled "Commitment vs Complacency" and covers the hidden betrayals of the heart.

When: Thursday September 09, 2010 7:00 PM

Where: Barnes & Noble
240 Route 22 West, Springfield, NJ 07081, 973-376-8544

R.A. Leslie also provides one on one relationship coaching as well--I know her personally and I  highly recommend her.

I'm At Your Door, Texting You

Apparently I need a new doorbell because the last time Jeff was here to get Olivia he knocked and rang the doorbell yet none of us realized he was at the front door. Hmmm, maybe I just need louder door chimes? So, what did he do? He sent me a text message that read, "knock knock." How funny.

What would we do without technology? Have some peace and quiet I think! Seriously though, my mobile phone is so important to me--mainly because I never see pay phones around here anymore. Are there pay phones where you live? Last time I saw pay phones was when we were at Epcot in Disney World.

Looking to Purchase Another TV

Now it's time to read up on tv reviews because we will most likely need to purchase another television for the family room. We've looked at lcd tvs in the stores and I've even spoken to people I know about which tv they currently have and what they like/dislike about it, so we will be armed with enough information when it comes time to buy another one.

In other news, CJ is officially going to be working from home. Read the pros and cons on that baby here: Scary But Necessary

I Want A Hot Tub

We've been talking about building a wrap around deck onto our house. On part of that deck would be room for a hot tub. I've been looking into the cost of hot tubs.

From the hot tub itself to the things involved to maintain it, right down to buying the hot tub cover and well, it certainly seems doable!

I am super excited, looks like this is going to be our Spring project!
