Old Cell Phones

I just went through the 'junk drawers' and I can't believe how many old cell phones we have! I even found an unlocked phone in one drawer! Guess working for a mobile phone company (me in the pat, CJ currently) has its perks!

I may donate the phones. Some were given to the kids to play with, sans the SIM card and battery of course.

Interesting Spin On Eczema

Eczema has been linked to all sorts of other medical conditions, including autoimmune disease. My friend Amy found that out the hard way. Had she gotten the proper eczema treatment eight years ago, she wouldn't be as bad off as she is, physically, right now.

As a mother, I am more aware of health issues and realize that everything is worth having checked out.

Protect Yourself From Technology

I was just reading that apparently there are some credit cards now with a RFID chip in it that emits the account number, expiration data and other information. This is so you can just wave the card by a scanner instead of swiping it. Sounds great but how great is it when you realize that your information is now 'out there' for anyone.

There is a company that makes cell phones with scanners embeded in them. You would never know if someone waved one of these by your back pocket.

Scary, huh? There is a solution, a way to protect yourself; a rfid wallet--keep your cards in the wallet and it will block the radio signals needed to read the information contained on RFID cards.

I Am The Best Ex-Wife Ever

Jeff, my ex-husband, tells everyone he has the best ex-wife ever, LOL but it's true. He and I get along so well, now tat we're divorced. I have been there for him through relationship problems (his and other girls after me), financial troubles and even when his close friend had to have treatments for depression.

CJ knows there is nothing romantic between Jeff and I so there's no issue that Jeff and I get along and still talk and it's made things so much easier for Olivia. I rock :)

Too Much To Think About

I'm so tired, physically and emotionally. Life feels like it's unraveling and I have no control over it. Or maybe I do have control over it but I don't want to take control?

I have to do some research yet on human growth hormones and then it's 'girl time' -- going out with one of my BFFs for some drinks!

Pimples On A Seven Year Old?

I noticed Olivia gets pimples on her chin now and then. They're not blackheads or anything awful looking thank goodness, but still.

This kid does NOT like to wash her damn face! No wonder she has pimples! When I DO get her to wash her face she never uses and facial cleanser, just water...Any suggestions to get her to do this the right way?

So Much Has Happened

So much has happened over the last month. I've been busy writing articles and reading reviews for articles. Currently reading an interesting 7-dfbx review to use as a discussion topic. I'm trying to scrape money together to pay for the carpet we installed in the basement last year. We took the no payment no finance charges for a year deal and well, then i forgot about it! Whoops! Now I need $1900 by August 2nd! 

So once I get myself caught up with work Ill be back to update about the kids and family!

Olivia the Teacher

Now that school's out Olivia feels the need to play school, she even asked for school furniture to make the downstairs more like a classroom. She always has to be the teacher. I'm sure the boys are sick of it by now, yet they play anyway because they want to be around her.

So, the 4th of July is right around the corner. A friend of mine recently had a baby shower and LOVES all the personalized baby gifts she got, especially this one:

Of course, it has the baby's initials on it, not 'Taylor' :) Guess lots of beach time and sailing is going to be in that baby's future.
