We're Going to a Halloween Party!

We got our special Halloween invitations in the mail and we're ready to attend Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party!

We have never been to MNSSHP so this is going to be spectacular! We're trying to decide what to dress as. One idea is to go as a zombie family--this means regular clothes but our faces made to look scary. The less I have to pack, the better.

While we were in Ohio visiting CJ's family, his mom took that opportunity to get a photo of him and his sister. CJ hates having his picture taken!

We're Back

I'm sitting here trying to concentrate on this article I'm writing that deals with where to get purchase order financing but so much happened during our visit to Ohio that I keep getting sidetracked!

First of all, CJ purchased a motorcycle, online, so no, he didn't get it in Ohio--it's here in PA and he' picking it up tomorrow.

I got a tattoo, it represents my kids. This is the photo I gave the tattoo artist:

I didn't like the tentacle things nor the fact that the dragons reminded me of penises, LOL. I told him the dragons were representing my children and so I didn't want them to look mean either. This is what he came up with:

Olivia is red (Aries >> Fire) Wyatt is blue (Scorpio >> Water) Dante is green (Virgo >> Earth)

Road Trip

We're gearing up for another road trip--this one isn't as far as Florida though! We're going to Ohio to visit CJ's family. Even though the drive is not nearly as far as the one to Florida it is actually more annoying! Something about driving through the entire state of PA bores the hell out of me.

So today I need to do laundry and pack and try to get some work done while CJ does maintenance on the Honda and makes sure we have our current registration and car insurance paperwork in there.

I would have much rather gone at the end of the week and over the weekend rather than leave on a Sunday and come home Wednesday--that puts a serious dent in my work time :(

If This Is How The Summer Is Going To Go

It's gonna suck. I woke up at 5:30 this morning, had to go to the bathroom. I couldn't fall back to sleep so I thought I'd get up, make some coffee and enjoy the quiet. I came downstairs and began to do just that. I have a slew of work to accomplish today so I began my research on Mesothelioma treatment for the next article I need to write. Ahhh, coffee, quiet, and feeling accomplished...lasted all of 20 minutes.

First Olivia was up, then Dante and Wyatt. The running around, the fighting, the screaming--at 6 am! OH HELL NO! These 3 were outside last night until well after 9 pm and by the time they all had baths and got to bed it was almost 10 pm--so WHY ON EARTH did they wake up so early this morning?!

I sent them all to the basement to play, watch tv, fight, whatever. No, I'm not making breakfast or about to entertain them this early in the morning.

Chasing Rainbows by R.A. Leslie

One of my clients wrote a book entitled "Chasing Rainbows" and wow--I could not put it down! It's all about love and relationships and well, it felt as though SHE was talking to me, like we were on the phone, just chatting.

I had a friend find her because they were searching 'relationship coaching New York' looking for a place in their area that offers workshops and such. He is so grateful to have found the book too!

Invitations via Facebook

Are regular invitations going away? I got an invitation to a baby shower in the mail and a birthday party invitation via Facebook. Now, personally I don't care how I get invitations--I mean, I'm not 'offended' if someone invites me to a gathering via facebook or email for that matter. However, I do know some people who find that tactless. I'm wondering why that is?

What do you prefer and why?

It's the Little Things

There's a rose bush at the side of our house and it produces lots and lots of red roses every spring. I love the way they smell : ]

I was sitting here looking at personalized baby gifts online when CJ came in with a vase full of fresh cut roses. He was doing yard work and decided to cut some roses for me because he knows how much I love them.

It's definitely the little things that matter :]

Happy Sunday

Just got back from grocery shopping. I hate grocery shopping and I really hate it on a Sunday. All the old people and church sheep are there. YUK. This morning I went earlier enough to miss the crowd, I've gotten smart.

It's windy here and the sun is going in and out--tornado watches! I'm just going to relax while doing laundry. I have an article on clinicallix to write and another on relationship coaching and then it's on to stuff for my clients.

What's everyone up to today?

Manicures and Pedicures--Well Maybe

It's my 'weekend'--CJ is off Sundays and Mondays. Today will be spent working and cleaning and the dreaded grocery shopping. Tomorrow is manicure day! I have tried so many times to let my nails grow on their own but they just don't grow fast enough for me. Yea, I'm impatient! The only time they grew fast was when I was pregnant and taking a prenatal vitamin and since that won't be happening I guess I can either wait for them to grow slowly or have tips put on.

OR I could just have the gel coating put on every week while I let them grow. That will at least keep them hard. I've contemplated a pedicure so many times but ewww, I just cringe at the thought of someone touching my feet.

Too Many Choices

I think, if fat burning supplements really worked, not too many people would be overweight, don't you agree? I'm reading about what some experts believe to be the best fat burning supplement--I have never even heard of some of these supplements, until now.

There are SO MANY out there, seriously! I'm really curious, have any of you ever had success with fat burning supplements? If you did, which ones and have you kept the weight off?

Two Showers a Day

This weather makes me feel the need to take two showers a day! Once in the am, I use my usual body wash. Then at night I use acne body wash because I seriously feel so gross. It's soo humid here!

I know our electric bill is going to skyrocket. We run 3 air conditioners, almost constantly. I wish we had the means to get duct work done on this place so we could have central air.
