Yesterday we took her to Friendly's and then had ice cream cake here at home. She's getting better at blowing out the candles on her cake but sheesh, after trying to get the darn candles lit I think I might need to look into a new home insurance quote and 'up' what we have, hahahaaa

How About That...

I was just complaining about how I need to lose like 10 pounds before vacation and what did I stumble upon tonight while surfing the 'net? www.weightlossproduct.org - how awesome! It's a great review site; very helpful.

I'm pretty sure there will be no weight loss for me before vacation (1 month 6 days!) so it will have to be something to really focus on once we get back.

Longest Week Ever!

Tomorrow is only THURSDAY - why is this week going so slooow? Actually, I am anxiously awaiting April 1st - I want March to be OVER! Why? Well, we go to Disney in April, why else?

Olivia's birthday is March 27th so I am looking forward to this weekend, she is going to be 7!  She wants a new bike so I've been looking online at different bikes and prices. In the meantime, I've been researching information on proactiv for an article I need to write and waiting for American Idol to come on because, yes, I am addicted. It's like a train wreck, I gotta watch...

Why I Need Wrinkle Cream and a Dye Job!

You see these two? Two reasons why I need wrinkle cream and a dye job!

Seriously, whomever said, "boys are easier than girls" didn't have these two, not even for an hour!
They scare me to death with their stunts. They have no fear and want to do everything. I am thinking about making them both wear knee pads, ankle pads and helmets 24/7!

Olivia might have a bit of an attitude but I'll take that over dare devil any day!

Blindness?

Even though I work from home, I still work in an 'office' so to speak, therefor things are set up a bit differently, right down to the type of lighting used. Now, working in this office area every day, I now know how important the right commercial lighting is. Often times, if the wrong lighting is in use, it hurts my eyes and gives me an awful headache.

The other day I was in the process of 'Googling' wedding rings orange county for a new client and I had to take a break from peering at the computer screen because my eyes and head hurt so bad.

What am I missing?

Hi, I'm Grandma

My grandmother walks with a cane. The boys are constantly pretending to be grandma by finding whatever they can to use as a cane. Last week it was makers stuck together:

They are something else! When we are in Disney she'll use a scooter, those things are kick ass AND she knows HOW to drive them. My mom, on the other hand, had no clue how to maneuver her scooter during our 2008 Disney vacation!

Speaking of Disney vacation - holy crap, only 1 month and 10 days! So much for my weight loss goal. I spent a lot of time reading fat burner reviews - guess I should have just been 'burning fat' instead, Hahahaaa

Such Doggie Faces!

I just think it's so amusing how dogs have expressions. Angus always has some sort of expression on is face, it cracks me up!

Doesn't it look like all he needs yet is one of those Rocky Patel cigars hanging out of his mouth to complete the expression?! LOL This dog definitely fits in with our family though, that's for sure!

We leave for vacation in 1 month and 10 days!!! Every time we go somewhere he refuses to eat for a few days - he's so used to someone being home, I'm glad my mom is right next door!

NOW What Went in Our Toilet?

Our downstairs toilet doesn't flush - in fact, it over flowed this morning. Dante and Wyatt admitted to putting something in it but they can't remember what it was...

This is the toilet in the bathroom we have yet to finish and let me tell you, I am glad its unfinished. However, that doesn't negate the fact that we need to get a plumber here tomorrow to rectify the situation. There goes more money.

I hate to complain about these seemingly 'little' things. I often remind myself just how good I do have it by looking at how people in some other countries live, or remembering what my 12 year old cousin went through when she had cancer (which eventually took her life) and now all these commercials about Mesothelioma treatment as more and more people are finding out they have that terrible disease.

I know I am lucky.

Spring Was Brought Directly To Me

This week the temperatures have been in the high 50's - low 60's; a drastic change from the previous weeks where it was snowing and temps were barely reaching the 30's! Last week I was so grumpy about the weather and so tired of the snow so CJ took it upon himself to bring Spring to me.

He had to run to the grocery store to pick up a few of those jumbo envelopes because we needed them to mail our tax stuff out and he came home with these beautiful flowers, complete with a ladybug :]

He said to me, "Here, I am bringing Spring to you." - it's these simple things that mean the most to me. Hey, I'm all for womens jewelry or something related to Mac (he's surprised me with 2 MacBooks over the years) but the flowers were perfect.

Stil Pondering Kitchen Sinks

I blogged back in 2008 about how I wanted to update our kitchen sink - we still haven't! AArrrggghhhhh! Well, recently I found Franke sinks and I am in love. What do you think?

I am going to try and talk CJ into this sink. We have the money for it so that's not an issue, it's getting him to agree! Anything is better than this though!

This Always Happens When I Plan Someone Else's Wedding

Hahaa, I just had to share this quick. So, I just blogged about how I am helping a Cali bride plan a weeding. She and I were talking about her (absolutely gorgeous) engagement ring. I asked her where she got it and she went on and on about Google and how all she did was search for 'custom engagement rings orange county' and viola, she found what she was looking for!

Well, that got me on a Google search for diamonds because I have this weird hope that maybe one day CJ and I will at least get engaged. There are so many types of diamonds and so many places to get them I immediately felt overwhelmed. Wow.

New Wedding Client

I'm telling you - I should just get married because I could plan a wedding like nobody's business these days! A woman from California contacted me to help her plan her wedding. She found my wedding blog because she was searching for Gothic Wedding Cakes and saw the post where I featured a unique spin to wedding cakes and wedding cake toppers.

She wants me to plan everything, from the bridal shower to looking for the wedding bands. I suggested she go with titanium rings because those are awesome! I'm not sure I want to be involved in planning a bridal shower - since when does the BRIDE hire someone to do that??

Ahhh, Wormy!

Boxers are known for tummy troubles - and being trouble, period. There was a time Angus ate a few hand made wedding favors I had sitting on the dinning room table – not sure why he did that, they weren’t edible! Needless to say, that won him a trip to the vet for some x-rays.

He’s been there so many times over the last 6 months I am guessing he’s afraid of people in lab coats at this point.

It's March!

Now is when time will really start to fly! This month I'll be busy training another team member of SEOwhat to be an account manager, planning a small birthday party for Olivia (oh my gawd she is going to be 7!) and planning some cool kid activities for Ostara - yay! Spring!

Before I know it, April will be here. Nothing going on in April party or holiday wise BUT we do leave for Disney in April!
