Wow - this is the Flu?

One day I was looking online for insurance quotes and the next day I was down with the flu and thought I was dying! Wozers! Weird thing was, it only lasted like a day and a half! Now I just feel worn out.

For the last 2 months we have been sick around here. I am sick of being sick! This is freaking insane! Calgon take me away!

Wow - I have TWO Jobs Now!

I officially have 2 jobs now! The good thing is that I have complete control over 1 job and excellent flexibility with the other!

I work full time as an account manager for a search engine optimization company, SEOWhat.com and I not only LOVE the job I adore my boss! The job allows me to work from home when I am able to. I do have deadlines to meet and meetings to be available for so while I can't just do whatever I want when (all the time) I do have a lot of flexibility with this job. The entire team at SEOWhat works from home so all of our meetings are done remotely via GoToMeeting.

My second job - and newest job, is working as a freelance writer for Demand Studios and this job allows me to have complete control on when I work, what I write and how much money I make. The more I do, the more I make. I did have to apply as there is a hiring process but I made it! I have been doing this for about 3 weeks now and it's been a slow process. They have many guidelines to follow and I've had to really read over those guidelines before writing an article. I have only managed to write 18 articles so far but I've made $265.00 already! Demand Studios pays twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, so as long as I make sure I am writing 1-2 articles a day, I have a constant stream of money coming in! (click to enlarge)


They are also offering health insurance! This is great news for those who need a full time job, want to work from home and need health care!

My goal is to make about $500 a week, eventually. That means on average I need to write about 5 articles a day. I know this may be unrealistic as my job with SEOWhat.com is my absolute main focus. We shall see!

Diet Pills

Alright people, what is the best diet pill, in your opinion? Have you tried any? What worked? What was horrible? I need a little boost when it comes to weight loss so I am debating about whether or not to try a diet pill.

I know most people say stay away from pills - they don't work, if they did, we'd all be skinny! Well, there has to be some out there that at least help!

The New Democratic Dental Plan

Olivia has had a loose tooth for I swear an entire month now. It's so loose that it's completely moved to one side and there is a space in her mouth - it looks like her tooth is missing but it isn't:

The other night at dinner we were talking about the tooth fairy and the kids asked what the tooth fairy does with the teeth she collects. Olivia said she thinks the tooth fairy puts the teeth in a jewelry box. CJ then interjected and said that the tooth fairy takes the teeth and gives them to the kids who are less fortunate and don't have any teeth.

This is the new Democratic dental plan!

Found a Solution!

Jeff was grumbling about his job and IT stuff - he needs a reliable back up service. He has tried 3 different services and well, they just haven't work for him - at least not to the expectations he has.

I did a bit of research on my own and found that a remote backup service would most likely be his best bet. I love being able to help. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

My Birthday Party

I don't get a 'party' anymore but there's still a family dinner every year for my birthday, complete with some gifts and a cake of course! This year I got all sorts of yummy scented Yankee Candles as well as pretty flowers and money! Not too bad! I was hoping for shoes, I had those on the list, specifically the brand Naot but I didn't get them. I'll have to venture out on look online for them myself.

A Haunted House

Ohh, a friend of mine wants to turn her barn into a haunted house this year for Halloween! How exciting! She already has lots of pans in place - she is one kick ass decorator! I mentioned cleaning up the barn floor and using a few discount rugs as well.

This is going to be fun! I can't wait to see it when it's done! Any ideas/suggestions on themes is much appreciated.

Skateboards!

If you have boys then there is no doubt you'll be buying or building skateboard ramps at some point. I have lived in this town all my life - then moved away for about 6 years and now I'm back. In that short span of time things sure have changed!

I drove by the main park area the other day and saw all kinds of skateboarders. Turns out this area is being turned into an official skate park! Of course now Dante wants to 'do that' and thinks we should buy him a skateboard and all the gear.

Speaking of Getting Older

Not sure how many of you read my Unbalanced Libra blog but I recently blogged about needing to find the best acne treatments because I have broken out in a sea of pimples!

it is truly embarrassing but I think I figured out why it's happening. It's not the 'age Gods' bestowing wrath upon me, I think it PMS! UGH I contemplated posting a picture but ummm, no, not gonna do that!

I Think I'm Alive

Wow - this cold/sinus infection sure kicked my butt! If you ever want to now what the best appetite suppressant is, I'd have to say the loss of smell/taste. I couldn't taste anything because I was so stuffed up! Thankfully my sense of taste returned just in time for my birthday - I had a chocolate/peanut butter cake! YUM!

Who would want to eat that and not be able to taste it?!
