We all relaxed and the kids napped. They must've really played/swam too much that morning because I had to wake them up to get them ready for dinner and that was NOT pleasant. Great. Grumpy kids, once again. CJ had even bought Olivia a luau skirt to wear that night and she refused. Okay, no problem.
We got to the luau cove and of course, we had to have our picture taken...This photo I cannot find at the moment. When/if I find it I'll be sure to post it. We got to the podium after the picture taking fiasco. Of course, that was always a fiasco with us. I told the girl at the podium that we were less 2 people in our party. Now, these tickets totaled over $300 and I was bummed to be out that money. Not to mention the fact that we never used the meal plan for Boma because we missed those reservations, so there we were, out more money. I was happy to hear that they would refund us the 2 tickets! We had the choice of being refunded (I can't remember the totals) a little over $100 and keep the seats we currently had OR we could be refunded a little over $90 and be upgraded to front row seats! I chose the front row upgrade. That was cool. I was even more excited that we were going to get money back, until...I was told we don't get it back per se, it goes back on our meal plan and can be used for another meal. Well, a lot of good that did me, considering it was our last night there and this was our last sit down meal. *sigh*
We get to our front row seat and things went smoothly, for the most part. I had given Dante a bag of chips so he munched on those, which kept him quiet. The food was served and they had this bread that had pineapple in it and oh.mygawd. it was divine!
The food was excellent but Dante could not be bothered with it, he just played with it and I let him because he was on that verge of meltdown. No way was I going to go through that. The show was entertaining and it got even more exciting when the fire guy came out.
To be continued...
